Why we work this way...
Our Founding Partners collectively, have worked in human development, organizational change, leadership growth and social justice for decades. We have degrees from prestigious universities, untold professional degrees, and have founded multi-million dollar businesses. We have held faculty positions at Ivy League institutions, and have lead retreats and pilgrimages all over the world. Some of us are ordained Buddhist monks; most of us have daily mindfulness, meditation, and movement practices. We all rely on poetry to illuminate the mysteries and paradoxes of the human soul.
No organization with whom we worked however, put all these modalities for incubating human development together into a lucid, planful, generous whole. In order to shelter, foster, and strategically support adult human development--to invite the soul's wise unfolding and to grow organizations that reflect this unfolding--we believe a new kind of institute needed to be born. Thus we offer sophisticated assessments, gifted coaching, somatic grounding, challenging new learning, conversation and silence, walks in nature--and a cohort to share this with. To move vitally and productively forward, we believe all these pieces are essential. We offer our own lives as proof.
